Corsa dei Ceri

About This Event

One of Italy's most ancient and spectacular festivals, held since 1160 in Gubbio each May 15th, where teams from three competing quarters race through the medieval streets carrying enormous wooden obelisks weighing 400kg each in honour of Sant'Ubaldo.
