About This Event
Portugal's premier folk, world music and dance festival, celebrating its 25th edition in the medieval hilltop village of Castelo de Vide in the Alentejo. Three days of workshops, concerts and spontaneous dancing bringing together folk traditions from Portugal, Brazil, Galicia, Cape Verde and beyond. Andanças is a participatory festival at heart — as many people dance as watch.
