Mercado Medieval de Óbidos

Europe's most atmospheric medieval fair, transforming the perfectly preserved walled village of Óbidos into the 12th century for eleven days each July. Knights in armour, court jesters and fortune tellers fill cobblestone streets while fire-eaters perform beside the ancient castle. Grand banquets, jousting tournaments, theatrical performances, medieval music, fado and artisan craft markets create a fully immersive time-travel experience.
